Final Days Of Race Across America

Sadly on one of the last legs of the race one of our riders had to visit the hospital due to heat exhaustion. After some IV's and other things, he was doing a lot better. That leave Dave to finish the last 400-500 miles alone. What I witnessed was fucking amazing. I will never see such an amazing thing done by an athlete in my life. It was one of those things where you either had to be there or you have to understand how RAAM works. To be on a bike for that many miles for about 2 days with about only 2 hours max of sleep. Amazing. Just amazing. Plus the terrain was not easy. Super hot, super humid, crazy steep uphill sections. Ridiculous. Dave is THE MAN.
